The beach here looks a bit stony. This picture was taken on 1st October 2002. At present (January 2006) the beach is very sandy. It changes almost daily, sometimes sandier, sometimes stonier. The beach levels can change quite dramatically, too. It's fascinating watching it day by day.
Norfolk is rightly famed for its 'big skies'. Sunrises and sunsets are truly spectacular here. Because the sea side of our house faces east, we get wonderful sunrises and early morning skies. This sky is powerful and active...
...while this gives some idea of the tranquil beauty which is also ours.
